Ante was born in Canberra, Australia in 1980 and founded illume photography in 1997. He was given his first camera at the age of 10.

He decided on a life of photography at a young age and was inspired by his parents' history and journey to Australia. Ante's two greatest passions in life are photography and travel. Experiencing other cultures and communities broadens one's view of the world, this allows Ante to capture scenes and events as he sees them. 

With work printed in various publications, his photography has received high praise being the recipient of an Outstanding Achievement award for 'Life' series.

'My World' is the first publication by Ante that includes a selection of work from 1997 to present.

Ante lives in Sydney Australia.
